The Career Development Office in Effat College would like to invite you to participate in its Seventh Career Day which will he held at Effat College under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Loulwah Al Faisal, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat College, on Monday 17th of March 2008. This year’s theme “Generation to Generation: Passing the Torch” will focus on the youth actively developing career opportunities for themselves.

The Career Day is one of Effat College’s most prominent events; it corresponds to Queen Effat’s legacy of providing opportunities to young adults – especially young women – to voice their opinion and take a stand in obtaining active leadership roles in society. Thus, the theme this year highlights the importance of accepting the innovations of the young generation in demanding career and job opportunities. These issues will be discussed through lectures by influential keynote speakers, a panel discussion, and workshops. Previous speakers and panelists include Dr. Mohammed Abdu Yamani, Ms. Lubna Al Olayan, Mr. Turki Al Dhakil, Mr. Ahmad Al-Shugairi, and many more.

In addition, the Career Day will provide career opportunities to new graduates, current students, and others seeking job vacancies. In the Job Fair area, representatives from different organizations will accept resumes and answer questions about job openings and opportunities. There will be a designated area for career counseling, CV enhancement, printing and photocopying. At the same time, the Exhibition area will feature booths and exhibits from various companies presenting their services and products. In last year’s Career Day, the Job Fair and Exhibition received more than three hundred attendees most of which applied for jobs.

Accordingly, we invite you to participate in the Job Fair and/or Exhibition area. Previous participants include BMW, TAMER Group, Proctor & Gamble, Nestle Products Export Corporation, Al-Sawani Group, and many more. Kindly find attached the form to be completed for participation.
